Downloading has destroyed big album sales. The sales record for Michael Jackson's "Thriller," will never be broken because of illegal downloads. The artist will make even less in sales therefore they have to heavily rely on tours for income unless they sabotage their careers like Snoop and Busta. Big U.S. promoters are reluctant to book rap acts because of the threat of violence and since record sales are way down, how can a rap artist make a decent living if their records don't sale and they can't tour? The overseas market is the most logical answer but when you and your crew (Snoop) have a brawl in a European airport you will be declined entry for future gigs and that's what happened to Snoop. He literally threw away hundreds of thousands in income. It was reported last year, allegedly Busta Rhymes had a falling out with European promoters and allegedly, they are not interested in booking him, ever again. Why bite the hand that feeds you? Some of these rap artists need to let go of that thug mentality and violent behavior because they're sabotaging themselves from future income.
