Recently he was invited onto Fox News’ morning show to discuss and speculate about Heath Ledger’s death. I’m not sure who booked Montell but I’m sure they regret it now because instead of joining in to talk about the mysterious death of the Dark Knight actor, he chose to condemn Fox News for even talking about it so much when there are troops in the Middle East dying every day without their story being told. One of the anchors almost let it slip out of his mouth that the war is old news and people don’t care anymore but stops short and decides to instead talk about how Fox covered the war years ago.


"As a soldier in the U.S. Army who has been to Iraq, it pisses me off how the media has started to act like the war doesn’t exist anymore. Nothing has changed over there yet people aren’t caring anymore". I’m feeling Montell on this one. Heath Ledger was a good actor but he wasn’t a hero.

8-year-old Raijon Daniels (above) died after allegedly being beaten, tortured and possibly 'forced' to drink household cleaner by his mother Teresa Marie Moses (pictured above). Police in Richmond, CA., say, this is one of the worst cases of child abuse they've ever seen. A few of the officers have already requested therapy.

Moses, 23, was arrested on suspicion of murder, torture, child endangerment and child abuse. Police said the boy was covered head to toe with injuries and he lived in horrible conditions, staying in a locked room (which resembled a jail cell) outfitted with a surveillance camera and handcuffed to a bed.

Moses fed him food that was mixed in a blender, mainly spaghetti and beans. Moses works for UPS as a supervisor and told police that she had disciplined him for what she perceived to be misbehavior. She thought he was playing mind games with her when he urinated on an uncovered mattress with no blanket.

In 2005, Raijon ran away by jumping out a second floor window and then stole toys at a store because he didn't have any at home. Authorities filed a report with Child Protective Services but he was returned to his mother.

Last Friday, police arrived to find Raijon non responsive with traces of vomit on his face. Raijon had whip marks, burns, cuts and scars that covered every inch of his body. His mother admitted to pouring household cleaners over his genitals to discourage him from urinating.

During the interrogation, Moses was strictly business and didn't appear remorseful and never once asked about how her son was doing. When police told her that he was dead, she tried to cry but no tears came out.

Ironically, Moses also has a three year old daughter who also lived in the apartment. Unlike her son, her daughter was unharmed and her room was filled with toys. She has been placed in Child Protection Services.

Moses is being held in lieu of $2.1 million dollar bail

When the Arizona cops pulled over Lil Wayne outside Yuma the other day they called the DEA and held him until they showed up. A two-day search for a popular South Carolina high school student ended Saturday with the discovery of the teenager's body in a local river and the arrest of a married couple who police say killed the teen and set her car on fire.

A student spotted the body of Marisha Jeter, 16, as she took photographs near the Broad River. Jeter had been stabbed in the neck, Union County Public Safety Chief Sam White told ABC News.

Jeter, who was president of the junior class at Union County High School and was also a cheerleader, had been last seen Thursday night on her way to McDonald's. She was reported missing early Friday morning by her father, a member of the Union County School Board, after he spent the night driving around looking for her.

Jeter's family told police that Marisha had recently been in touch with Pernell Clayton Thompson, a 20-year-old from neighboring Jonesville, whom she'd been in a relationship with. Thompson had recently married and had a child with another women, Yolanda Lee Thompson, 19.

White said Public Safety officials interviewed the Thompsons individually, both of whom said that they knew nothing about her disappearance.

"He more or less said he didn't know where she was and he would help us find her," White said. "He said that they had a relationship and it went sour, but he didn't give us too much detail."

By Saturday morning, the state police had joined the investigation, and that afternoon, Jeter's body was found about 15 miles from Union at the bottom of a steep river embankment. The photographer used her camera to zoom in and then realized she was looking at a body.

Immediately, police contacted the Thompsons a second time. "We told them during questioning what we found and presented them with information," White said. "They both confessed."

Both were charged in the murder of Jeter and are being held at the Union County Detention Center. They will make their court appearances next week, White said. The pair has apparently never been in trouble with the law before.

Investigators said the fatal confrontation began when Jeter received a text message Thursday evening from Thompson to meet her at the Union YMCA to return a coat. When Jeter arrived, however, she was met by Thompson and his wife, Yolanda, who had discovered that her husband was still communicating with Jeter.

There was a struggle, White said, and Jeter was stabbed in the neck. "They put her in the trunk of her car and drove her car down to Lockhart," he continued, where the body was dumped into the river. The car was driven a few miles down the main road, doused with gasoline and set on fire.

Former Miami Heat star Glen Rice was arrested Friday on a felony battery charge after police say he beat a man he found hiding in his estranged wife’s closet. Rice arrived at the house where estranged wife Christina Rice lives, demanding to know the identity of the man she was with and what he was doing at the home. He found Alberto Perez, 37, in the master bedroom closet and began beating him, police say, all the while screaming obscenities. Rice physically removed Perez from the bedroom by the neck, according to the report. Perez then fled the home and called police. He received a cut to his forehead that needed nine stitches.

The 6-foot-8 Rice surrendered to police and was released after posting $5,000 bond. It was not immediately known if he had an attorney. As of March, the Rices were married nine years and have three young children.

A Texas Man has been charged with capital murder after killing and eating his girlfriend. Christopher McCuin, 24, notified police that he had killed 21-year old Jana Shearer. When police arrived, they discovered an ear boiling on the stove and a piece of flesh in a plate with a fork in it:

“We cannot prove that he did,” Smith County Sheriff J.B. Smith said Sunday. “He was either going to, had been or led us to think that he was doing it.”

McCuin also stabbed his estranged wife’s lover, who is now in intensive care.

On May 11, 2007, at about midnight, deputies in Columbia, S.C. say an armored car pulled over at a gas station to refuel. An armored car that just happened to be carrying about $18 million. Once the guard refueling the truck finished at the pump, he got ready to hop back into the driver's seat. Deputies say as he was re-entering the car he was struck in the face by someone with a handgun. Before he knew what was happening, the guard found himself struggling with two attackers, who overpowered him and threw him between the seats of the truck. Deputies say the attackers were Dominic La Shaun Lyde (above) 22, and Jeremy McPhail, 19. Then McPhail and Lyde allegedly forced the second guard, Darryl C. Frierson, 21, to drive.

After driving about two miles away, McPhail and Lyde had Frierson stop the car. Deputies say they were met by two other suspects at this location, Kelby Blakney, 20, and Dominique Blakney, 19. Investigators say the men proceeded to rob the truck of roughly $9.8 million.

Deputies were immediately suspicious when they learned the car had been refueling when it was robbed. Armored cars usually have plenty of fuel for their routes, and there was no reason to stop.

Sure enough, deputies say they received information early into their investigation and acted on it May 16. They found Frierson, one of the 'guards', with Dominique Blakney, one of the robbers. Deputies say the two men implicated themselves and the others involved in the heist, and it didn't take long for deputies to make three more arrests. Darryl C. Frierson, Dominique D. Blakney, Kelby D. Blakney, and Jeremy M. Mcphail are being held on charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, and assault and battery. Paul J. Whitaker, 21, another employee with the armored car service, was not at the scene of the crime but has been arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. But, deputies say they still haven't been able to find their sixth suspect involved in the actual heist, Dominic La Shaun Lyde.

Police believe Lyde is either in Baltimore, where he has family, or could be staying close to home, in North or South Carolina. Deputies also say that Lyde has spent a lot of time at strip clubs, throwing large amounts of cash around and buying himself a place to stay for a while, in the homes of the strippers.

Police say they're also looking for Derrick Shawnte Benjamin (above) who they believe made off with at least $1 million of the stolen money. Detectives think Benjamin is staying very close to home, in South Carolina, possibly getting help to stay on the run from family and friends.

So what do seven guys, six of whom are between the ages 19 and 22, do with nearly $10 million after a major armored car heist?

Deputies say they bought shoes, cars, tattoos, and went to strip clubs. Dominic Lyde bought expensive rims he was planning to mount on an old Monte Carlo. And since the crime happened Mother's Day weekend, some of the suspects bought their mom's presents.

Deputies say Dominique Blakney, Frierson, and Whitaker are all students at Benedict College.
