YOUR NOT THAT IMPORTANT FAM
According to the Jersey Journal, In limbo Wu-Tang Clan member, U-God has been living in fear that that associates of the group are out to kill him. He is so scared that back in June he contacted Jersey City, New Jersey Police for protection.
The paper reports that random dudes have been following him from his home in Jersey City to his Manhattan studio motivated by what he believes is his lawsuit against the group. As you’ll remember, U-God whose real name is Lamont Hawkins, filed a $170,000 lawsuit (peanuts really) against Wu Music Group for back pay for an advance on the group’s latest album 8 Diagrams, royalties, and unpaid tour money.
Although he sounds a bit paranoid if you ask me, U-God claims that over the past few months vehicles with out-of-state plates have followed him numerous times, but because there’s a basic distrust for cops in this Hip Hop thang he didn’t report it. Yeah I get followed by cars with out-of-state plates too, that’s why its called an Interstate.
In once incident, he reports that he saw two men get out of a whip. One of them gestured toward his belt as if to insinuate that he had some heat. This was the incident that he said finally sparked him to contact police and filed a suspicious persons report.

Iran: Death Penalty for Blogging?
On Wednesday, Iranian members of parliament voted to discuss a draft bill that seeks to “toughen punishment for disturbing mental security in society.” The text of the bill would add, “establishing websites and weblogs promoting corruption, prostitution and apostasy,” to the list of crimes punishable by death.
In recent years, some Iranian bloggers have been sent to jail and many have had their sites filtered. If the Iranian parliament approves this draft bill, bloggers fear they could be legally executed as criminals. No one has defined what it means to “disturb mental security in society”.
Such discussion concerning blogs has not been unique to Iran. It shows that many authorities do not only wish to filter blogs, but also to eliminate bloggers!

DISTURBING & TRAGIC(MAN LOCKED DAUGHTERS IN CAGES)
POSEN, Ill. — A suburban Chicago man admitted he locked his two little girls in a wire cage hidden in the back of his pickup truck, police said.
Ricardo Gonzalez of Midlothian was arrested Monday after a woman at a gas station in Posen heard a crying child and spotted him pushing small hands back into a cage, police said.
"She didn't think this was right and notified police right away," Posen Deputy Police Chief Vickie Paggi told the Chicago Tribune.
Gonzalez was taken into custody before leaving the gas station.
Gonzalez admitted to locking his girls, ages 2 and 5, in a cage to control them so they wouldn't run away, police said. He had erected a wire cage behind the driver and passenger seats of his Chevrolet S10 truck, police said. Black-tinted windows and a large plywood board in the truck's window back window concealed the cage.
Gonzalez told police he used the cage because he didn't have a baby sitter. Police said the girls did not live in the cage around-the-clock.
The 35-year-old faces charges of misdemeanor child endangerment. Cook County prosecutors were exploring Thursday whether the charge could be upgraded to a felony.

NELLY HAS CRAZY STALKERS
Rapper Nelly has suffered terrifying experiences with stalkers - including a crazed fan who claimed to have given birth to his son. Nelly insists he has been targeted by dozens of fanatics over the years, but only took action after a woman turned up at his house accusing him of fathering her child.
Nelly insists that he had never seen her before and was forced to take the unnamed woman to court in a bid to stop her harassing him.
He says, "I've had so many stalkers that lie about me and write stuff on my MySpace (internet page). I had this woman drive over to my house from Texas back in 2003 with her son in the back of the car.
"And she swore that I was from Texas and her son was mine. I felt sorry for the kid. She'd been telling him he was mine for as long as he could understand. He was 14 at the time and I was like, 'What, did I have him when I was 12?'
"I had to get a restraining order out against her in the end. It was scary, because I didn't know what she was going to do next."

He confided to The New York Times he owned eight cars, including a Porsche, a Lexus and a Range Rover. He was thinking of shedding a Benz.
Seen 10 years down a prosperous road, Anderson's parking garage looks downright quaint. With the average player's salary having approximately doubled in a decade to $5.36 million (U.S.), the definition of NBA excess has become, well, more excessive.
"I've seen (an NBA player) having two cars a day to drive. You know, 14 cars," said
Raptors sharpshooter Jason Kapono the other day. "Think about how absurd it is. You say 14 cars. All right, you may have some kids, a family of nine. But a single guy having 14 cars?
"It's one thing if Bill Gates wants to do that. But when you're 22 years old and you don't even have kids yet, it's not good."
Kapono, then, wasn't the least bit surprised when a representative of the NBA Players' Association addressed the Raptors recently on matters of financial prudence. A statistic was cited during the meeting that startled some of the hoopsters. It was said that 60 % of retired NBA players go broke five years after their NBA paychecks stop arriving.
Roy Hinson (NBA rep) said he knows of a current NBA player who owns 15 cars – said unwitting athletes have been charged as much as $5,000 a month for bill-paying services and as much as a $100,000 to have their taxes prepared by unscrupulous agents and business managers.
"If you never check up on someone," said Raptors guard Darrick Martin, "you become a target."
Public stories of NBA players in financial trouble occasionally make headlines. Back in October, Jason Caffey, who made an estimated $29 million during his eight-year NBA career, was in bankruptcy court seeking protection from his creditors, among them the seven women with whom he fathered eight children. And late last year Latrell Sprewell, who famously turned up his nose at a $21 million contract offer – "I've got to feed my family," was the money quote – had a yacht worth more than $1 million repossessed.

The R Kelly child pornography case came to its climax yesterday when the prosecution rested after three hours of explosive testimony from 27 year old Lisa Van Allen who claims she had several threesomes with R Kelly and his underage lover over two years during the 90's. Lisa met R after she had sex with him after being cast in his Home Alone video in 1997 when she was 17. She moved from Atlanta to Chicago to be close to him and appeared in several more videos and in his touring show, simulating sex with Kelly on stage. Lisa testified that R is obsessed with video taping himself having sex, and that he carries his homemade sex tapes around with him in a duffle bag everywhere he goes. "If we was at the [music] studio, it was in the studio with him. If he was at [the gym], it would be at [the gym] with him," she said. Lisa also testified that R paid her $20,000 last year to return a sex tape of her, the jailbait, and Kells in a threesome after promising her $250,000.00 for it. On cross-examination she also admitted stealing a watch worth $20,000.00 from Kells out of a hotel room. Lisa cried on the stand when she recalled the last time she had sex with R and the underage girl. She said Kells got mad at her because he said her crying was fucking up the footage.
The defense will present their arguments, today.

“It would take someone 44 years — working nonstop, 24/7, 365 days a year — to be able to fake the sex tape at the heart of R. Kelly’s child-pornography trial, a forensic video analyst testified Thursday.
Defense attorney Sam Adam Jr. had practically equated a mole on Kelly’s back — which he said couldn’t be seen in the sex tape — to O.J. Simpson’s glove in his opening argument, essentially saying that if you don’t see the mole, it must not be Kelly. So when Fredericks showed how a spot on the male’s back was in fact visible in a half-second’s worth of footage once the tape was slowed down, the proverbial glove fit. ‘It’s in the exact same position, at about the same size,’ Fredericks said, pointing to a video display.”
When asked if the tape had been digitally altered, the witness replied:
“It could be done, but it wasn’t done on that tape,”
50 CENTS L.I. HOME BURNS DOWN
An eyewitness told Newsday that among the injured, all of whom suffered smoke inhalation according to fire officials, were 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, and their 10-year-old son, Marquise.
“She was all right,” eyewitness Frank Hoyte, a Newsday employee, said, adding: “But she was angry.”
He said Tompkins was standing outside the home barefoot as it burned, wearing a bathrobe. Two young boys, one of them Marquise, two teenage girls and “an older woman” were also standing with Tompkins, Hoyte said.
The Long Island McMansion at the center of his and Shaniqua’s legal battle burned to the ground early this morning. Fire officials are calling the blaze “definitely suspicious.”

Joakim Noah Arrested In Florida
Police arrested Chicago Bulls forward Joakim Noah, son of famous tennis player Yannick Noah, May 25 in Gainesville, Fla. on charges of possession of marijuana and having an open container of alcohol. According to police, Joakin was walking down the street carrying a clear plastic cup with an "iced amber-colored" drink, that he put on the ground when he saw police headed his way. When the cops discovered the drink was Hennesy, Noah was taken to an area police station where they found one joint inside a cigarette package in his pants. Noah was charged with possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis and an open container violation. He could face up to six months in jail and a $500 fine for the marijuana charge.
